Castelli Milano
History
The beginning of a dream
In 1964, founder Lindo Castelli, born in 1938 and raised as an expert paper artisan, opened his bookbinding shop in Bergamo, Italy. Dedication and love for details laid the foundation for a company that would leave a mark in the printed product industry.
Growth and expansion
For millennia, paper has established itself as an essential tool for the development of human culture. Determined to honor this potential, the Castelli family built and expanded their production reality in the 80s and 90s, creating a solid and vibrant global network.
The challenge of progress
In the 2000s, with technological progress, the role of paper was questioned and seemed destined to disappear. Castelli accepted the challenge by developing designs for specific sectors and focusing on extreme customization as a high-quality promotional tool.
The new nature of paper
Castelli embraced the growing environmental awareness and, with tireless research, introduced innovative recycled materials, natural inks and zero-emission processes. Paper was elevated from a writing support to a medium for communicating fundamental messages.
Towards an innovative future
The renewed Castelli brand interprets paper as a powerful and creative means of communication, a connection between matter and ideas. Paper is ready to become an essential tool for the development of thoughts and personal expression in the age of artificial intelligence.
